Trauma Recovery for Women
Often, unhealthy relationship and behavior patterns are related to our family histories that shape us as individuals and are difficult to change on your own. Ultimately, the goal is for you to develop skills to manage your emotions and make healthier decisions in your life. I focus primarily on Complex Trauma (C-PTSD) - when one experiences multiple traumas over time, particularly during key stages of development. Other topics include but not limited to:
- PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- Codependence Recovery
I believe trauma is healed within relationships. Healing from trauma requires us to tell our story. Sharing your story is a powerful tool in your healing. Developing a new narrative can help you develop an objective perspective on your experience, creating alternative perspectives & the possibility to reflect on your experience, experiment with compassion, new feelings, and new ways of interacting within your world.
