At TLC, my approach to counseling is integrative, emphasizing changing your negative thoughts about yourself, others, and your world while also incorporating family dynamics, your culture, and spirituality into the counseling experience.
My passion is helping women of color begin the healing process from past trauma (emotional wounds) and move toward wholeness and wellness. Trauma can be any event that has significantly affected your life either in the past or present day.
Often, unhealthy relationship and behavior patterns are related to our family histories that shape us as individuals and are difficult to change on your own. Ultimately, the goal is for you to develop skills to manage your emotions and make healthier decisions in your life. I focus on the following:

- Unhealthy relationships due to: Codependence, Low Self-Esteem

I work with adults to achieve improved mental health and wellness. I enjoy working with clients to help them recover from a variety of mental health issues related to:

My preference is meeting with clients face to face however there many benefits to videoconference sessions. I have found it is best for: former clients or those already familiar with the counseling process, those seeking personal growth, those with schedules where regular travel to the office would interfere with consistent attendance.
